Ucrete® WR

Ucrete® WR is a three-component, polyurethane-cementitious, flooring material designed to be used in conjunction with other Ucrete® products to form cove bases. Ucrete® WR can also be used to protect drains, tank bases, sumps, containment pits, curbs, and other vertical surfaces. Ucrete® WR, like other Ucrete® flooring products, will tolerate a wide range of organic and inorganic acids, alkalis and salts. Ucrete® WR is extremely strong and in most cases, it has physical properties which are approximately double that of concrete. Ucrete® WR is designed for application by trowel and will yield excellent results when applied at a depth of 1/8th (6mm) to 3/8th (9.5 mm) of an inch or greater.

Application

Ucrete® WR is ideal for interior , and some exterior applications, when severe conditions such as impact pressure, thermal shock and chemical exposure are expected. Ucrete® WR is excellent for use in the processing areas of meat, poultry and dairy plants, bakeries, confectionery packaging, food warehouses, textile production, precious metal refineries, pharmaceutical facilities, freezers and refrigerated storage. While the most common substrate is concrete, this flooring system may also be applied over other substrates.

Chemical Resistance

The Ucrete® HF Flooring System will resist spillage of and exposure to for up to seven (7) days at 72°F as per ASTM D-1308 the following chemicals.

Dilute mineral acids including Hydrochloric(<35%) , Phosphoric(<50%) and Sulphuric(<30%)

Alkalis, including potassium hydroxide to 50% concentration.

Some dilute organic acids such as acetic (30%) formic, citric acid and urine

Fats, oils and sugars

Mineral oils, diesel fuel, kerosene and gasoline

Most Organic solvents, including aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons and alcohol

Note: Full chemical resistance is achieved after curing for seven (7) days. For chemical resistance to a specific compound consult the Chemical Test Data Sheets specific to this flooring system.
