UcreteŽ HP/Q

UcreteŽ HP and HP/Q are three-component, polyurethane-cementitious, floor systems designed for application to concrete and various other substrates to protect them against chemicals, abrasion, impact and thermal shock. UcreteŽ HP and HP/Q are non-slip, industrial floor systems incorporating an integral broadcast application. UcreteŽ HP/Q uses a colored quartz aggregate to yield a textured surface that presents a very attractive finish, while UcreteŽ HP relies on a natural colored aggregate. These monolithic, troweled, flooring systems will tolerate a wide range of organic and inorganic acids, alkalis and salts. UcreteŽ HP and HP/Q can be used on new concrete substrates or badly damaged floor surfaces that have been exposed to contamination for many years. UcreteŽ floors are extremely strong and in most cases, have physical properties which are approximately double that of concrete. UcreteŽ HP and HP/Q will yield excellent results when installed from 1/4th (6mm) to 3/8th (9 mm) of an inch or greater.

Advantages

Application
UcreteŽ HP and HP/Q are ideal for applications, interior or exterior, when severe conditions such as high impact pressure, thermal shock and chemical exposure are expected. The thermal stability of UcreteŽ HP and HP/Q makes them excellent for use in meat, poultry and dairy plants, bottling facilities, pharmaceutical plants, commercial kitchens and restaurants, freezers and refrigerated storage, particularly where steam or hot water is required for cleaning. The wearing surface, when properly installed, will remain heavily textured and non-slip, under most wet process conditions, throughout the life of the floor.* While the most common substrate is concrete, this flooring system may also be applied over other substrates.

Chemical Resistance

Performance Design
UcreteŽ HP and PH/Q are independent systems designed primarily to be a two application step product. Variation in the thickness will affect the thermal and impact resistance of the product. Thickness of 1/4th (6mm) of an inch to 3/8 (12mm) of and inch are recommended, with the thicker system providing the highest level of thermal and impact resistance. Also available is UcreteŽ WR designed to aid in building vertical surfaces such as cove bases.
